The Mission- “Change Ministry”

with 2 comments

In 2009 a young women by the name of Biruktawit simply acted with the character of Jesus Christ. She started building a relationship with a group of about 10 children living under a bridge in the east part of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She showed courage and compassion by saving her change, along with some of her friends, and taking these children out to dinner.

By March, 2009 she had formed a bond with “The Crew” of street kids ages 8-15. During NCC’s week-long trip to work on Entoto Mountain Project, we had the opportunity to spend time and have multiple dinners with the group of children led by Yosef. more to come……….

……. Updating on 11/27/2011. Amazing to know what God has done with our project. We live with 16 of some of the best boys on this planet, providing complete holistic care and rehabilitation. God use me and my team to fill a roll to the fatherless and show the love of the Father. We are watching extreme transformation every day, boys on the streets to leaders in their community and strong men. Thank you Lord. Next up date…. 2013

  2. Adam: Go! Go! Go! As we agreed, if God is in this it will sail. Looks to me like it is sailing! Hold on tight You have no idea where God will take you as you are faithful to Him. By the way I thought I followed your directions, but was not able to sigh up for your automatic e-mails. Remember, I am of a previous generation and unidirectional. Tell me again, slowly, with words I can understand and 1st grade directions.
